Vice President of the St.Kitts/Nevis Association for Disabled People, Anthony Mills has sent out an appeal for the government and public alike to assist in treating all disabled people as equal members of society. In observation that disabled people face a lot of discrimination, he said such individuals deserve “fair treatment” and “total inclusion.”

Mills, who is wheelchair-bound told the SUN that the association is set up to “fight” for the rights of disabled people while raising awareness of their situation as well. He explained that the organisation is currently trying to get the government to protect and enforce the rights of the disabled people.
