A combative customer attacked a disabled man and tried to run over a woman at a flea market Sunday, according to a police report.

The woman reported about 7:15 a.m. that the customer tried to park in a vendor’s area at the market in the 4200 block of East University Drive. She told the man he could not park there, and he began yelling and cursing at her, she said.

A disabled man tried to intervene, and the customer began throwing punches at him, according to the police report. The customer did not land any punches, but he shoved the disabled man down.

Then the customer allegedly got in his truck and drove straight at the woman while she was on the telephone with a 911 operator. She jumped out of the way and the truck grazed her leg. The man left before police arrived.
